When people know what they want they go to The Search Engines. I need a Plumber today because my tub is leaking. This person wakes up with a problem that needs to get resolved today. The search engines are happy to show this person all the plumbers in there zip code that are open right now.

Social Media

Social Media Posts and Reels are designed to Entertain & Educate. People do not normally go to Social Media looking for a Plumber near my home or in my zip code. Folk are on Social Media for very different reasons. Make sure you understand this concept before you post. Social Media users are NOT interested in Ads or Spam.

The Mother Ship

Your website is the Mother Ship of all Internet activity, all aspects of your company flow in, around and out of the main website. The new responsive websites allow a customer or client to easily move around within your site from any size phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

Cities You Serve

The "Service Area" is where you show the search engines the areas and cities where you service customers. You may have an office in one or more cities, but usually most offices serve a radius around that office that they serve. You want to show the search engines all the cities you service with a separate GEO targeted web page.

Amazon has taught us not to buy a toy without looking at the reviews, TripAdvisor has taught us not to go to a restaurant or stay at a hotel without looking at the reviews. We usually have no problem collecting bad reviews, we must work to get happy customers to leave a review. There is software that makes review collection easier.

Besides the map, the only pictures in the search results is the thumb nail image of a video or reel. Make sure you have videos and reels! They need to Educate and or Entertain. Do not try to sell with a videos or reel. They need a trending sound plus a fun hook and interesting content. Videos and Reels can bring a lot of traffic if they are done right.

e-Mail Marketing

Do not let a customer or client go without getting there email and cell phone number to call, email and text them about what your company is doing. Use software that will allow you to keep track of them overtime who opt-in, while allowing them to opt-out from every email or text.

Paid Traffice

Need Customers Now? Make sure your online image looks good and start a campaign with Google, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn & Facebook etc. Use "Exact Match" Ads to pages to lower your cost and increase your position. This will help conversions.

This Is Like A Plant

Your online presence is like having a plant. If you put the plant in the closet and forget about it, then the plant will die. The same is true of your website, blog, social media. You must look after it, make sure it gets water and fertilizer on a regular basis with fresh content, pictures and videos.

Earn Better Reviews

Amazon has taught us not to buy anything without checking the reviews. It is easy to get bad reviews, it is a lot harder to get good reviews. Respond to all reviews and do what ever it takes to fix the bad ones, even if it hurts.

Do Better Follow Up

It has been said that you must "Follow Up Until They Buy Or Die!" Extreme follow up over time is the best way to stay in front of new and existing customers. It is far easier to sell an existing customer than trying to get a new customer.
