Can A Golfer Sell 20 Cars A Month?

Seven tips to help your golf loving sales staff sell 20 cars a month

  1. Look Professional: Your sales person needs to look like they work at your car dealership – company logo golf shirt or golf hat.
  2. Get To Know The Staff: The Golf Pros at The Dominion Country Club, Restaurant Managers, Event Coordinators and Service Staff.
  3. Work The Practice Areas: Spend time on the golf range and the practice putting greens. These are great areas to network.
  4. Get To Know New People: Golf with people you do not know, be available if anyone needs a partner, join golf groups and attend golf tournaments
  5. Work Away From The Course: Golf shops, golf instructors, Topgolf San Antonio, golf cart stores, golf training and restaurants with golf simulators like Tap Rack Social. Get to know the managers and staff.
  6. Work Social Media: Connect with as many as you can on Social Media and LinkedIn. This includes following, liking, commenting, post pictures and video from the course or events.
  7. Look For Leads: Look for people that may want to join the golf club, who may need lessons or may need new golf gear. Look for people that would use the restaurants for meetings, events or weddings. If you give them leads, they will give you leads!

Auto Dealers: If there are 20 golf courses within 45 minutes of your dealership and I find you 10 golfers that want to sell 20 cars a month by each working two golf courses, you could have 200 extra sales a month. There is a lot more to it than this, but how about we think outside the box. I heard about a guy who worked two golf courses, the dealership never saw him unless he was selling a car.

Traditional advertising is no longer generating the leads it used to. There are lots of ways to sell 20 cars a month this is just one way. What are your thoughts?
