An auto group in San Antonio TX tasked me with helping 30 sales staff to build their brands and start generating their own leads with reels, videos, posts and marketplace listings. The owners realized they could reduce traditional advertising and pay the sales staff for generating their own leads.
There was a lot of push back in the beginning, but as other sales staff started getting inquires, appointments and sales it all changed. Social media marketing sure beats making cold calls to old leads with a 1% close ratio.
I sat with each person and put together a program based an their experience and existing social sites. Some of the staff had no clue where there social media was or how to even post to it. Many of them were only using social media to watch what others were doing. This first group are complete beginners at social media marketing. Many from this group had no clue how to post, create a reel, video or marketplace listing. I started giving classes and one-on-ones with as many of them as I could each day.
Within the group of 30 there were a few that had already been doing social media marketing on the side and were concerned about the influx of others doing the same thing. I assured them that this would not be a problem. Each person has different friends and different followers and will put out different content.
