25 Years Internet Manager This is What I Learned

My journey to find an Internet Manager position. This is what I have found:

First – How many dealerships have little to no service drive program using software like AutoAlert. This is where 1 or 2 sales staff are dedicated to meet the customers coming through service.

Second – The lack of understanding of how social media works for the dealership and the sales staff. Many are wondering why they are not getting more traffic or sales from social media with no original or unique content.

Third – How “laid back” dealerships are with their leads and follow up programs. Some are doing better than others, but in general I have seen problems at every store.

As the Internet Manager sometimes they want me wave my “magic wand” and fix all the problems without making any changes.

Unfortunately some of the changes are difficult for staff that are faking calls and making bogus appointments. This is hard work; we cannot wait around for opportunities to drop in our lap.

This is what I have been doing for 25 years, it is very hard work, but it produces amazing results. – Vincent Hoss
